The couple’s video, along with others about HomeGoods, have garnered millions of views. Wood shared that browsing HomeGoods is a universal experience, where the store dictates what to buy. HomeGoods, owned by TJX Companies, is known for its ever-changing selection of brand name and designer merchandise, creating a “treasure hunt” shopping experience for customers. Each store has different inventory, making each trip unique. Tatyiana Gordon from Syracuse also participated in the trend, showcasing items like a bust of a boxer with golden gloves and a squirrel lamp. She found the diversity of decorations at HomeGoods to be a fun and one-of-a-kind experience. Despite some products being absurd, Gordon described them as “conversation starters” that add a unique touch to any home. The appeal of HomeGoods lies in the surprise and excitement of discovering new and unexpected items, making each visit feel like a special and memorable experience.
