Hoffman from Fond du Lac appointed as Director of Athletics at Wisconsin Lutheran College


Wisconsin Lutheran College has announced Jeremiah Hoffmann as its new Director of Athletics, as President Daniel W. Johnson revealed. Hoffmann brings over 20 years of experience in athletics administration, coaching, and business development to lead the college’s athletics programs. He expressed excitement for the opportunity to lead Warriors Athletics and build on the department’s current strength with great coaches, staff, and student-athletes.

Hoffmann previously served as Athletic Director for the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh’s Fond du Lac and Fox Cities campuses, successfully managing multi-campus athletic programs and developing sponsorships while also coaching men’s basketball and men’s golf. He has also contributed to WLC as director of the Sport and Recreation Management graduate program for two years, creating a 4+1 program and forming partnerships.

President Johnson highlighted Hoffmann’s leadership, experience, and passion for collegiate athletics as ideal for guiding Warriors Athletics forward. Hoffmann, who holds a master’s degree in sports administration from Ohio University and bachelor’s degree from UW–Oshkosh, is set to commence his new role on July 1, 2025.

Hoffmann’s diverse background includes roles as director of business development at Community First Champion Center, head golf professional at Mascoutin Golf Course, head women’s golf coach at UW–Oshkosh, and varsity basketball and golf coach at various schools. He is also a certified PGA Professional and member of the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association and Wisconsin Golf Coaches Association.

Hoffmann will bring a wealth of experience and passion to his new role at Wisconsin Lutheran College, setting the stage for continued success in Warriors Athletics.
