In a stunning upset, Penn State defeated the No. 12 Wisconsin Badgers 86-75 in a Big Ten Conference matchup on Saturday. D’Marco Dunn led the Nittany Lions with 25 points, while Yanic Konan Niederhauser added 15 points and 11 rebounds. Wisconsin, who had a chance to secure a double bye in the Big Ten Tournament with a win, saw John Blackwell and Steven Crowl score 19 points each in the loss.

Penn State’s victory at the Kohl Center marked their first road win against Wisconsin in 30 years. The Nittany Lions trailed by 13 points in the first half but rallied in the second half to take control of the game. Wisconsin struggled to score in the final minutes, missing their last six shots.

With the regular season over, Penn State did not qualify for the Big Ten Conference tournament, while Wisconsin now waits for their seeding in the upcoming tournament. The absence of starting guard Klesmit due to injury was evident in Wisconsin’s performance, but they hope to regroup before the tournament begins.
