Iowa City, IA – In a dominating performance, Iowa Hawkeyes running back Kaleb Johnson led his team to a 42-10 victory over the Wisconsin Badgers. Johnson rushed for an impressive 135 yards and scored three touchdowns, while quarterback Brendan Sullivan contributed with 93 passing yards and a touchdown, along with 56 rushing yards and another score on the ground. On the other hand, the Badgers struggled on offense with Braedyn Locke throwing for 137 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. Running back Tawee Walker managed just 52 rushing yards.

The Hawkeyes outperformed the Badgers on the ground with 329 rushing yards compared to Wisconsin’s 120 yards. Wisconsin finished 2-11 on third down conversions and were heavily penalized with eight penalties for a loss of 55 yards. This loss marked the first time the Badgers have lost three or more consecutive games against Iowa since 2005. The 32-point victory was Iowa’s largest margin of victory over Wisconsin since 1968.

The impressive performance by Iowa’s offense and defense showcased their dominance in the game. With this win, Iowa secures an important victory in the Big Ten conference race, while Wisconsin will need to regroup and make adjustments moving forward.
