Amid the ongoing conflict, Zelenskyy warned the UN that Russia was planning to attack Ukrainian nuclear power plants, emphasizing the potential for disaster. His calls for unity and support from world leaders were echoed, with Zelenskyy urging against alternative peace initiatives that could enable Russia’s aggression. The escalating nuclear rhetoric from Russian President Vladimir Putin was also a matter of concern, with the Kremlin indicating a willingness to use nuclear weapons in response to conventional attacks.
In light of the developments, Zelenskyy is set to visit the White House to present his “victory plan” to Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
