MADISON, Wis. – WTMJ reports that Senator Tammy Baldwin of Wisconsin has been included among 11 Democratic legislators allegedly targeted by a man accused of shooting Minnesota lawmakers. According to Baldwin’s spokesperson, she was informed of her inclusion on this list by law enforcement. The senator expressed gratitude for the swift actions taken to ensure community safety and emphasized her focus on honoring the life of Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, who were tragically killed, while also praying for the other victims involved.
Senator Baldwin condemned the recent political violence, stating, "My heart goes out to the victims, their loved ones, and all our midwestern neighbors." She asserted that such violence does not represent the values of the country and called for collective denunciation of these acts.
