Wisconsin High School Softball Tournament Begins
Madison, WI – This week, Michigan high school softball teams are set to compete for glory at the 49th Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) State Softball Tournament. The tournament runs from Wednesday through Saturday at Goodman Diamond on the University of Wisconsin campus.
The event features a single-elimination format with five division championships at stake. Division I includes eight teams, while Divisions 2, 3, 4, and 5 comprise four teams each. Each day features a packed schedule of games.
Kicking off on Wednesday, June 11, Division I’s quarterfinals will showcase matchups such as #2 Kaukauna against #7 Sun Prairie East at 11 a.m. and #1 Kenosha Bradford versus #8 Cedarburg at 4 p.m. The semifinals follow on Thursday and Friday, with the championship game for Division I set for Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m.
Other divisions will also see finals on Saturday, with Division 2 games starting at 4 p.m. and Division 3 at 1 p.m. Fans can catch all the action live on the NFHS Network.
