Sonny’s Enterprises Announces Global Expansion with New Carwash Technology Center in Pune, India
MUMBAI, India — Sonny’s Enterprises is set to enhance its international footprint with the launch of a new carwash technology center, officially dubbed the Global Capability Center (GCC), located in Pune, India. This strategic move emphasizes the company’s commitment to advancing technology within the carwash industry, equipping operators with state-of-the-art tools and support.
The GCC aims to be a hub for innovative solutions, spearheaded by the development of Sonny’s proprietary Quivio ecosystem. This integrated technology suite combines software and hardware designed specifically for carwash operators, assisting them in increasing revenue and optimizing operations.
Currently, the Pune center employs 25 professionals specializing in engineering, data science, and customer support, with plans to grow this number to 100 by year-end. The expansion underscores Sonny’s dedication to enhancing its technical capabilities and responsiveness to global carwash partners.
CEO Curt Hutchins highlighted the significance of the GCC, stating that it represents a pivotal milestone in Sonny’s global strategy. He noted the abundant talent and robust technology infrastructure in India, which will help accelerate innovation and bolster customer value.
The GCC is designed for cross-continent collaboration, fostering a performance-driven culture aligned with Sonny’s core values. It also supports employee development and innovation across various time zones.
Chief Technology Officer Eashwer Srinivasan emphasized that the center will play a critical role in advancing the Quivio platform and delivering next-gen solutions for carwash operators worldwide. Executive Vice President Tim Elhefnawy added that the GCC will enable Sonia’s enterprise-wide transformation, enhancing agility and precision in unlocking new business value.
The official inauguration ceremony was attended by Hutchins, Srinivasan, and Elhefnawy on May 21, 2025, marking a new chapter in Sonny’s commitment to technological advancement in the carwash sector.
