Local Titleholders Gear Up for Miss Wisconsin Pageant
In a heartfelt send-off, the Miss Door County Scholarship Program hosted an event at Southern Door Auditorium for reigning titleholders Faith Blackley, Elise Jackson, and Hanna Mertens, as they prepare to compete for the Miss Wisconsin crown from June 18-21 in New Berlin. Attendees enjoyed previewing the contestants’ wardrobes, witnessing their talent performances, and engaging in a Q&A session, all while capturing memories with family and friends.
During the event, the trio emphasized their roles as mentors, aiming to inspire young girls within their community. They are joined by last year’s Miss Door County, Kylee Duessler, who is vying for the Miss Milwaukee title and hopes to improve on her fourth-place finish.
The excitement surrounding the Miss Wisconsin Pageant continues to build, highlighting not only the dedication of these young women but also their commitment to serving as role models in Door County. For those interested in attending this year’s pageant, additional information can be found on the event’s website.
