Tragic UTV Crash Claims Life of Wisconsin Teen
NIAGARA, Wis. (WLUC) – A tragic accident on Saturday resulted in the death of 18-year-old Gabriel N. Avila-Neuheisel from Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office reported that dispatch received a call regarding a utility terrain vehicle (UTV) crash off Hobart Lane around 4:46 p.m.
Avila-Neuheisel was reportedly driving the UTV along a dirt trail on private property when he lost control, causing the vehicle to roll over. Authorities noted that the young driver was not wearing a helmet or seatbelt at the time of the crash. He was ejected from the UTV and succumbed to his injuries.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office, and the Marinette County Medical Examiner’s Office. Local emergency services, including the Niagara Police Department and Niagara Fire Department, responded to the scene to assist.
