PBS Wisconsin Set to Premiere Season 2 of "Human Footprint" on June 25
June 8, 2025 – PBS Wisconsin is excited to announce the return of biologist Dr. Shane Campbell-Staton for an all-new season of "Human Footprint." This season delves into the global repercussions of humanity’s impact on the planet, exploring themes from our intricate food chain to the evolving dynamics between humans and wildlife.
Premiering at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, Season 2 will highlight issues such as the environmental toll of the fashion industry, freshwater security, and the urgent plight of endangered species across the globe. A key episode, titled “The Honey Trap,” will air at 8 p.m. on July 16 and features Campbell-Staton’s journey to uncover the state of one of America’s rarest bee species, along with interviews from scientists investigating the critical threats to bee populations.
