Wisconsin Football Targets Class of 2026 Defensive Lineman Djidjou Bah

Wisconsin’s pursuit of talent for the football Class of 2026 intensifies as three-star defensive lineman Djidjou Bah announced his list of eight finalists on Friday. The Badgers are in the running alongside Indiana, NC State, Michigan State, Northwestern, Iowa, Georgia Tech, and Memphis. Ranked as the No. 148 defensive lineman and No. 60 recruit from Tennessee by 247Sports, Bah is emerging as a crucial target for Wisconsin, especially following King Liggins’ commitment to Illinois.

Bah has a series of official visits lined up, with scheduled trips to Wisconsin on May 30, Iowa on June 6, Indiana on June 13, and Michigan State on June 20. He has already completed a visit to Northwestern. Currently, Wisconsin’s recruiting class ranks 44th nationally, with seven commitments.

In an interview with Badgers Wire, Bah expressed his admiration for the Big Ten, stating, “The Big Ten is the best conference in football. To have the opportunity to play in the Big Ten is a blessing.” He highlighted his fit within the Badgers’ program, envisioning himself in a four-man front playing the three-technique position. Bah is eager to improve his hand placement and pad level to enhance his gameplay.

Family plays a significant role in Bah’s recruitment journey, as he values their input in his decision-making process. He indicated a commitment timeline of June or July, keeping fans and programs alike on the edge of their seats.
