Alejandro Sierra Sentenced for Murder in Racine
RACINE, Wis. – Alejandro Sierra, 30, was sentenced to 50 years in prison for the murder of his girlfriend, Alexis Fisher, on Friday, May 9. This sentence includes 40 years of initial confinement followed by 10 years of extended supervision. In March 2025, a jury found Sierra guilty of 1st-degree reckless homicide for shooting Fisher during a domestic argument in April 2023.
Sierra shot the 36-year-old Fisher in the chest, after which he fled the scene. Her body was discovered near Spring and State Streets. Witnesses testified to watching the incident unfold, leading to Sierra being branded as one of Wisconsin’s Most Wanted individuals. Authorities conducted intensive searches for Sierra, who was reportedly armed and dangerous, with U.S. Marshals advising the public to avoid approaching him due to the risk he posed.
He surrendered to law enforcement on April 20, 2023, during an unrelated traffic stop. Following his arrest, the firearm used in the crime was recovered. The court emphasized the grave risk Sierra posed to the community, underscoring the seriousness of his actions.
