Mount Horeb School District Recognizes Director of the Wisconsin Office of School Safety

Trish Kilpin, Director of the Wisconsin Office of School Safety, has been honored by the Mount Horeb School District with the Annual Friend of Education Award. Kilpin’s dedication to school safety has had a profound impact on the Mount Horeb community and school districts across the state. Superintendent Steve Salerno praised Kilpin for leading with both her heart and her head, emphasizing her commitment to ensuring the safety of students, staff, and communities in times of crisis.

In addition to her role in school safety, Kilpin oversees the “Speak up, Speak Out” initiative, an anonymous tip line designed to prevent violence and provide assistance to individuals in danger. Kilpin’s ongoing support and dedication to school safety have been recognized and appreciated by the Mount Horeb School District and the wider community.
