Badgers dominate Green Bay


The Wisconsin volleyball team ended their spring season with a 3-0 victory over Green Bay, led by Mimi Colyer’s 13 kills. Carter Booth also contributed with 10 kills, helping the Badgers hit .274 as a team. Grace Egan impressed with six kills in the final set. Green Bay’s Kirsten Fish led her team with 10 kills, but they were unable to match Wisconsin’s offensive prowess.

In the first set, Wisconsin took a quick lead and held off a late Green Bay rally to win 25-21. The second set saw both teams trading points, but Wisconsin came out on top 25-23. In the third set, Wisconsin jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, winning 25-17. Maile Chan led the team with 13 digs, Charlie Fuerbringer had 35 assists, and Addy Horner contributed five service aces.

Head Coach Kelly Sheffield praised the team’s growth during the spring season, highlighting the talent and potential he sees in the players as they prepare for the upcoming season. She also commended Charlie’s development and leadership on the court.
