Historic Win for Wisconsin Women’s Basketball Program against UAlbany

On Friday, Wisconsin’s women’s basketball team made history with a 69-59 victory over UAlbany, marking the first time since the 2006-07 season that the Badgers have started with a 7-0 record at home. Serah Williams, the reigning Big Ten Player of the Week, led the team with 28 points and 12 rebounds, while Carter McCray added 15 points and 14 rebounds in the win. Wisconsin’s most exciting victories this season have come against Rutgers, Georgetown, and Omaha. The team’s record stands at 10-2, with a five-game win streak putting them among the top teams in the country. Their next game is a Big Ten clash against the Indiana Hoosiers on Dec. 28. Head coach Marisa Moseley’s program is off to an impressive start, and fans are eager to see what the rest of the season holds for the Badgers as they continue their winning ways.
