Hopkins previously led JSerra Catholic, a rival Trinity League team, and put up impressive numbers as a junior with over 1,100 passing yards, 13 touchdowns, nearly 500 rushing yards, and eight rushing touchdowns. Despite his success on the football field, Hopkins is also a standout track athlete with an impressive 100-meter time of 10.66.
