Wartburg Men’s Track and Field Team Excels at Multiple Meets
The Wartburg men’s track and field team showcased their talents at meets hosted by Augustana (IL), Wisconsin-La Crosse, and Kansas, with several standout performances. Tyrell Adams secured an event win in the high jump, Nathan Kinzer triumphed in the 1500m, and Jack Kinzer emerged victorious in the 3000m steeplechase.
Notable top 5 finishes included Christian Nunley in the hammer throw, Mason Lobeck in the shot put, Carson Collet in the pole vault, and strong showings in the 1500m and 800m races. Jack Kinzer’s impressive 3000m steeplechase time solidified his spot on the TFRRS list. Collet’s pole vault performance also earned him the top spot on the program’s all-time top 10 list.
Looking ahead, the Knights will continue to compete at the prestigious Kansas Relays. With their recent success and impressive rankings, Wartburg’s track and field team is poised to make a significant impact in future competitions.
