The Milwaukee Brewers’ high-A affiliate in the Minor Leagues, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, has been sold to Diamond Baseball Ventures. The previous owners, Third Base Ventures, have agreed to the sale, but the team will remain at their home stadium in Fox Cities and continue to be a minor league affiliate for the Brewers. The current Timber Rattlers front office will also be retained through the sale, under the leadership of team President and CEO, Rob Zerjav. Diamond Baseball Ventures, an organization that owns and operates multiple other MiLB teams with Major League affiliations, is not only acquiring the team but also purchasing Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium, the Timber Rattlers’ home for three decades. This sale marks a new chapter for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers as they continue to develop young talent and maintain their connection to the Milwaukee Brewers.
