Badgers dominate in Day One of the B1G Invite

The Wisconsin women’s rowing team competed at the 2025 Big Ten Invitational in Sarasota, Florida, with the third varsity four squad finishing third in one of their races. The team showed improvement throughout the day, with boats like the first varsity four and varsity eight shaving off seconds from their morning race times in the afternoon. The Badgers will wrap up the weekend with day two of the B1G Invite on Saturday, April 19, with the regatta available for streaming on RHStv.

In the varsity eight category, Michigan and Harvard/Radcliffe took the top spots in the first race while Washington and Brown came out on top in the second race. The team’s lineup included Coxswains like Emma Hefner and Nora Clements, along with rowers like Sophia Gruenling and Macy Mosner. Overall, the Wisconsin team showed determination and persistence in their races against tough competition from around the country.
