Wisconsin’s Zonica Lindeque shone at the 44 Farms Team Invitational in College Station, Texas, setting a new personal best in shot put with a throw of 52 feet, 7 ½ inches. Karina Janik and Julia Moore also had strong performances, finishing 12th in their respective events. Lindeque’s impressive showing puts her at No. 7 in UW’s Outdoor Track history. The Badgers will be competing in both the 44 Farms Team Invitational and the UW-Platteville Invitational tomorrow morning. In Platteville, Madelaine Sweeney and Megan Lee finished 20th and 24th in the 5000 meters. The team will look to continue their success as they compete in upcoming meets.
