Washington softball clinched the series over Wisconsin with a 6-2 victory at Husky Softball Stadium. The Huskies, now 28-9, 6-2 Big Ten on the season, saw Stevie Hansen start in the circle and Rylee Rehbein relief with a season-high six strikeouts. Wisconsin initially got on the board with an RBI single, but Washington responded with two runs in the first inning. Jadyn Glab hit a home run and Charity Sevaaetasi added a pinch-hit three-run homer, extending the Washington lead to five. Despite Wisconsin bringing in a run in the seventh, Sophia Ramuno struck out the final batter to clinch the series. The Huskies will face off against the Badgers for the series final on Sunday morning at 11 a.m. The game can be streamed on B1G+.
