The Executive Director of the Milwaukee Election Commission, Paulina Gutierrez, stated that they have already surpassed the voter turnout numbers from the last spring election in 2023. With 180 polling locations and thousands of employees, the commission is working diligently to ensure a smooth and secure voting process. All ballots are being stored in a secure 24-hour surveillance ballot room before being processed on election day. Gutierrez reassured that every election, regardless of size, is taken seriously and preparations have been made to handle the expected high volume of voters on election day. The spring election is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1st, and voters are encouraged to utilize early voting options to make their voices heard.
