Four members of the Wildcat Aquatics Club recently competed at two Wisconsin state championship swim meets earlier this month. Henrik Larsen participated in the Senior State Championships for athletes aged 15 and older, held in Brown Deer, Wisconsin. Meanwhile, August Krueger, Tenley Belanger, and Makaya Hurley competed for the team at the 10-and-under State Championships in Verona, Wisconsin. Krueger had a busy four-event day, finishing 16th in the 500-yard freestyle. On the same day, Hurley and Belanger also competed in various events.
Larsen had a successful meet at the Senior States, advancing to the finals in every event he competed in and earning points that placed the Wildcat Aquatics Club in third place in the team standings for Division 3. Larsen was scheduled to compete at the 2025 Speedo Sectionals in Rochester, Minnesota, showcasing his talent at a higher level. This achievement highlights the dedication and skill of the Wildcat Aquatics Club members in representing the team at state-level competitions.
