Announcement of All-WIAC Women’s Basketball Awards


The 2025 All-WIAC Women’s Basketball Team has been announced by the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC). Kacie Carollo from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater was awarded the Kwik Trip Player of the Year, while Paige Seckar from UW-Oshkosh was named the Kwik Trip Newcomer of the Year. Brad Fischer from UW-Oshkosh received the Kwik Trip Coach of the Year award. Carollo, a senior guard, led the conference in several statistical categories and earned her third consecutive first team honors. Seckar, a sophomore guard, made an impressive impact in her first season with the Titans. Fischer, in his second consecutive season as the Coach of the Year, led his team to a 23-4 record and secured a spot in the NCAA tournament.

Other notable players on the All-WIAC team include Lauryn Milne from UW-La Crosse, Kayce Vaile from UW-Oshkosh, and Amanda Giesen from UW-Stout. Sarah Hardwick from UW-Oshkosh was also recognized for her defensive skills, making the All-Defensive Team for the second consecutive year. Additionally, an All-Sportsmanship Team was announced to highlight players who displayed exemplary sportsmanship throughout the season.
