This win marks UW-Eau Claire’s first NCAA appearance since 2013. Despite UW-River Falls outshooting them 39-24, both teams failed to score on power play opportunities. With this victory, UW-Eau Claire ties UW-Stevens Point for the most Commissioner’s Cup wins in conference history.
