Police chase from Wisconsin ends in crash in Chicago suburbs involving 2 men

Two men wanted in connection with multiple crimes led police on a chase from Kenosha County, Wisconsin, to Chicago’s north suburbs. The pursuit started when a deputy spotted a car registered to a wanted man, Mason Spencer, who was driving without a valid license. When police tried to stop the car, the driver, Raymond Underwood, sped off, leading authorities into Illinois. The chase ended with a crash at an intersection, resulting in the arrests of Spencer and Underwood and minor injuries to another motorist. A third person initially detained was later released without charges.

Spencer, 31, had multiple warrants for his arrest, while Underwood, 32, faced charges including fleeing and reckless endangerment. The specific crimes the men were wanted for were not disclosed, and the Lake County Sheriff’s office is investigating the incident. The individual injured in the crash was also detained on outstanding warrants. The full details of the crimes and the involvement of the third person taken into custody remain uncertain.
