Wisconsin Storm Spotter Training 2025: Essential Information to Prepare

The National Weather Service (NWS) is urging individuals to become storm spotters for the 2025 Wisconsin Storm Spotter Training season. Both in-person and online training sessions will be offered for free and will cover safety aspects for spotters as well as how to report severe weather to the NWS. Pre-registration is not required for the sessions, with a list of dates and locations provided for attendees to choose from. The NWS suggests attending only one session as they will cover the same information.

Live training sessions will be held in various locations such as Madison, Fond du Lac, and Sheboygan Falls, among others. For those unable to attend in person, the training will be recorded and shared in mid-May. The information was provided by the FOX6 Weather Experts and the National Weather Service.
