The Wisconsin Beef Council is excited to announce the 2nd Annual Wisconsin’s Best Burger Contest, inviting participants to nominate their favorite beef burger locations in the state. Last year’s contest saw a surge in burger sales for the Elite Eight finalists, with Pickles Bar & Grill near Hazelhurst experiencing a 530% increase in sales after being named the winner. Participants can vote for their favorite burger location from February 21 to March 21, with the Elite Eight restaurants being revealed in early April. A panel of judges will then visit each finalist to taste and evaluate the contenders based on taste, appearance, doneness, and overall enjoyment, with bonus points given for the eating atmosphere and experience.
