Yoo Ki-hwan, Netflix Korea’s director of content, expressed excitement about the expansion to an Asian stage, where athletes in MMA, boxing, and wushu sando will compete in a national team battle for their country’s pride. Pacquiao’s last major appearance was in July last year when he participated in an exhibition featherweight fight with RIZIN’s Rukiya Anpo. The addition of Pacquiao to the Physical: Asia lineup has generated significant interest and anticipation among fans.
