The Marquette University Law School will be hosting a two-part “Get to Know” program on Feb. 18 and Feb. 28 at 12:15 p.m. in Eckstein Hall. The programs will introduce Wisconsin Supreme Court candidates with a lunch provided for attendees. Derek Mosley, the director of the Lubar Center, will host the programs.
On Feb. 18, Brad Schimel, a former Wisconsin circuit court judge and attorney general, will speak about his legal experience. On Feb. 28, Susan Crawford, a current Wisconsin circuit judge, will discuss her background in law.
The event will allow attendees to learn about the candidates’ backgrounds, priorities in the race, and how their experiences will influence their approach to the office they are seeking. To attend, interested individuals must register online.
This event is a valuable opportunity for voters to become informed about the candidates running for the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
