Wisconsin license plates will now start with the letter “B” after exhausting all four and a half million number and letter combinations that previously started with the letter “A”. The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) announced the new series of plates, which took nearly eight years to issue, will debut soon. Interestingly, the letters “I”, “O”, and “Q” are not used on license plates due to their resemblance to numbers. Officials from the DMV say this change comes as a result of the increasing number of vehicles registered in the state.
