USC Men’s Basketball is set to face off against No. 24 Wisconsin in hopes of extending their win streak to three games at the Galen Center. After a successful matchup against the University of Iowa Hawkeyes, where they secured a 99-89 victory, Desmond Claude led the Trojans with 25 points and a career milestone of 1,000 points. Three other Trojans also hit double-digit scoring in the game.

Wisconsin is currently on a six-game winning streak and boasts strong shooters in John Tonje and John Blackwell. Tonje leads the Badgers with 18.2 points per game and is known for drawing fouls effectively. Wisconsin excels in free throw shooting, ranking first in the nation with an 85.4 percent success rate.

Desmond Claude has been dominating in Big Ten Conference play, leading all players with an average of 22.0 points per game. Rashaun Agee has also stepped up, showcasing strong performances in rebounding and offense in recent games.

USC’s roster includes five players with over 1,000 career points, including Josh Cohen and Bryce Pope. Chibuzo Agbo and Desmond Claude recently joined this milestone, with Matt Knowling and Saint Thomas approaching the mark.

The upcoming game at the Galen Center on Saturday, Jan. 18, will feature Armenian Heritage Day celebrations and a donation drive for fire victims.
