106 University of Wisconsin student-athletes from fall sports teams were named to the 2024-25 Academic All-Big Ten team. The football team had 45 honorees, women’s soccer had 21, men’s soccer had 14, men’s cross country had 9, women’s cross country had 12, and volleyball had 5. To be eligible, students must be on a varsity team, enrolled full-time for 12 months, and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Notably, several student-athletes achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA, including Christian de Vaal, Rowen Ellenberg, Mya Bunke, and Annika Cutforth. The football lineup of honorees included Haakon Anderson, Vinny Anthony, and Ben Barten. Women’s soccer standouts like Dara Andringa and Hailey Baumann were also recognized for their academic achievements.
