Mosley awarded Second Star of the Week in Big Ten

Graduate student forward Ryland Mosley had an impressive performance for the Wisconsin men’s hockey team, earning the Big Ten Second Star of the Week honor. In a weekend series against Alaska Anchorage, Mosley scored a goal and notched three assists in a 7-1 victory on Friday, marking his first-career four-point night. He then scored the game-tying goal with 19 seconds left in regulation on Saturday, helping the Badgers secure a 1-1 tie. Mosley’s performance extended his point and goal streak to five games, with a total of five goals and nine points since November 9. The Arnprior, Ontario native is tied for second place on the team with 15 points and is currently second in goals with seven. This is Mosley’s first career Big Ten weekly honor. The Badgers are gearing up for a series against No. 1 Michigan State, with games set for December 6-7 at the Kohl Center. Friday’s game will feature the annual UW Teddy Toss presented by BMO, while Saturday’s game will be televised on the Big Ten Network and serve as Joe Pavelski Night.
