Michigan Beats Wisconsin in first Big Ten Game

The University of Michigan men’s basketball team secured a decisive 67-64 victory over previously undefeated No.11 Wisconsin on Tuesday night at the Kohl Center. Vladislav Goldin led the team with 24 points, while Danny Wolf contributed a well-rounded performance with 20 points, seven rebounds, five assists, five blocks, and three steals.

The Wolverines dominated the second half, with Goldin and Wolf leading the way to secure a Big Ten victory on the road against a ranked opponent. Michigan’s strong defensive play, including eight blocks by their 7-footers, stifled Wisconsin’s offense and held them to a low three-point field goal percentage.

Despite a slow offensive start in the first half, Michigan rallied back with a strong performance from Wolf to cut Wisconsin’s lead to six points going into halftime. This victory marks Michigan’s 100th win over Wisconsin and showcases the team’s potential as they prepare to face the Iowa Hawkeyes on Saturday afternoon. Fans can watch the game live on FS1 at 2 p.m.
