Former Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice David Prosser passed away at the age of 81 after battling cancer. In 1998, he was appointed to the Wisconsin Supreme Court, where he served for nearly two decades before retiring in 2016.
Current Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Annette Ziegler highlighted Prosser’s intellect, fairness, and dedication to the rule of law during his time on the bench. She noted his commitment to improving the state’s legal institutions through his work on various committees. Prosser’s family is currently making arrangements for his funeral.
