Governor Tony Evers is set to begin his fourth statewide budget listening session tour, starting in Appleton. The sessions will allow Wisconsinites to directly address their concerns and input on various topics for the upcoming 2025-27 executive budget. Issues such as rising costs, education, healthcare, infrastructure, conservation, workforce development, and economic growth will be covered. Governor Evers emphasized the importance of public input in shaping the budget, stating that it should reflect the priorities and will of the people. The listening sessions will help guide the state’s path forward in finding solutions to the challenges faced by Wisconsin residents. Additional dates, times, and locations for these sessions will be announced soon. Accessibility accommodations, such as ASL interpreters, will be available at the in-person sessions. Governor Evers has a history of hosting successful listening sessions in previous budget cycles.
