According to new research, the Green Bay Packers are the most in-demand sports team in Wisconsin, with over 336,000 searches per month. The Milwaukee Brewers and the Milwaukee Bucks rank second and third, respectively. The data was analyzed by sports betting experts at Thelines.com, who looked at searches related to every Major League sports team in the U.S. over the last 12 months.
The Green Bay Packers, competing in the NFL, have the highest average number of searches in Wisconsin. The Milwaukee Brewers and the Milwaukee Bucks, both based in Wisconsin, also have high search volumes. The Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears, from Illinois, round out the top five most in-demand teams in the state.
Brett Collson, Head of Sports at Thelines.com, commented on the findings, emphasizing how sports teams are able to connect fans across different states. The research used data from Google Keyword Planner and each league’s website to determine the rankings based on search terms related to tickets, game schedules, and team news.
