The Wisconsin men’s hockey team dominated Alaska Anchorage with a 7-1 victory at the Kohl Center, led by junior forward Kyle Kukkonen and freshman forward Gavin Morrissey who each scored two goals. Grad student forward Ryland Mosley and Morrissey also had four-point games. The Badgers have now won three consecutive games and hold a 5-8-0 record. The series will wrap up on Saturday at 8:00.
On the women’s side, the no. 1 ranked Wisconsin team defeated UMaine 9-0, with juniors Laila Edwards and Kirsten Simms, along with defender Caroline Harvey, each scoring twice. The Badgers now have a stellar 16-1-0 record and will finish up the series with the Black Bears on Saturday at 3:00.
