Milwaukee Bucks Set to Rebrand Bally Sports Wisconsin

FanDuel Sports Network is set to take over the channels previously branded as Bally Sports by the Diamond Sports Group. The rebranding will take place on October 21st, following Diamond’s bankruptcy proceedings. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed, but the change will impact all 16 of Diamond’s regional sports channels.

The Diamond Sports Group’s channels have served as the TV home for various professional sports teams, including the Milwaukee Bucks and Milwaukee Brewers. Major League Baseball recently announced a deal to take over broadcast rights for the Brewers, Twins, and Guardians. By partnering with FanDuel, Diamond aims to enhance the fan experience and provide additional value for team, league, and distribution partners.

FanDuel Sports Network will offer a variety of content, including sports betting shows, horse racing, and Euroleague basketball. The partnership will also allow FanDuel to showcase its brand across the nation’s largest group of regional sports networks. David Preschlack, CEO of Diamond, and Mike Raffensperger, president for sports at FanDuel, both expressed excitement about the collaboration and the opportunities it presents for both companies.

Overall, the rebranding of Diamond’s channels to FanDuel Sports Network represents a strategic move aimed at improving the viewing experience for sports fans, while also leveraging the strengths of both companies in the sports media industry.
