The Wisconsin Badgers football team suffered a 42-10 loss to the Iowa Hawkeyes on Saturday at Kinnick Stadium. Despite a touchdown catch by receiver CJ Williams, the Badgers were unable to mount a comeback. Defensive standout Christian Alliegro tallied a career-high 16 tackles in the game. Running backs Tawee Walker and Darrion Dupree both had solid performances on the ground. The Badgers will have a bye week before facing off against the No. 1 ranked Oregon Ducks on November 16 at Camp Randall Stadium. Oregon, currently 9-0, defeated Michigan in their latest game and will be hosting Maryland next week. This loss puts Wisconsin at a 5-4 overall record, with a 3-3 record in the Big Ten conference. The team will need to regroup and refocus as they aim to bounce back in their upcoming game against the top-ranked Oregon squad.
