An investigation is currently ongoing into a school bus crashing through a home in Holmen, Wisconsin, leaving one resident injured. The incident occurred early Tuesday morning when the bus hit a home on State Street. Fortunately, no children were on board the bus at the time of the crash. The bus driver was unharmed, while one person inside the home sustained minor injuries and had to be rescued through a window. The cause of the crash is being investigated by the Holmen Police Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol. The bus was eventually removed from the home, with assistance from the fire department. The school district of Holmen has addressed the incident and reassured families that no students were on the bus during the accident. Direct communication is being provided to families of students who use Bus 175. Roads in the area may be blocked due to the ongoing police investigation.
