The 2024 Wisconsin Valley All-Conference Boys Soccer Team has been announced, with Keegan Fredrick from Marshfield High School being named Player of the Year. The first team includes players from schools such as Wis. Rapids Lincoln, D.C. Everest, Marshfield, and Wausau West. The all-conference selection is headlined by Hayden Piesik, Hezekiah Mletzko, and Tyler Foster, among others. The second team features players from Stevens Point, Wausau East, and Wis. Rapids Lincoln. Honorable mention was given to players from Merrill, D.C. Everest, and Wis. Rapids Lincoln.
The community is encouraged to nominate top athletes and teams for recognition, including the Athlete of the Week and Team of the Week features. College athletes from the area competing at the collegiate level are also eligible for recognition. The “Where are they Now?” feature highlights former standout athletes, coaches, and difference makers in the community. Additionally, individuals who have made an impact in central Wisconsin, such as coaches and volunteers, can be nominated for the “Baked or Fried” feature.
