New enhancements revealed at Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame’s downtown Walk of Fame

The Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame Walk of Fame, located near the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, recently underwent improvements financed by Network Health. The upgrades included new banners, signage, and a digital LED board showcasing videos of Hall of Fame inductees and iconic moments in Wisconsin sports. Brian Lammi, co-owner of the Hall of Fame, aims to enhance the visitor experience and promote the city’s rich sports history.

The improvements were unveiled at a press conference, where Coreen Dicus-Johnson, president of Network Health, expressed excitement over the enhancements. Future plans for the walkway in 2023 may include bleacher seating and back-light pillars, although artificial turf is not currently in the works.

Established in 1951, the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame will mark its 75th anniversary in July 2025. The Hall of Fame has honored over 150 Wisconsin sports figures, including legends like Hank Aaron, Brett Favre, and Vince Lombardi. With its recent upgrades, the Walk of Fame continues to attract visitors to downtown Milwaukee and celebrate the state’s sports legacy. The collaboration between Network Health and the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame highlights a commitment to preserving Wisconsin’s sports heritage for future generations.
