The Atlantic Knights of Columbus, Council #1164, recently made a generous donation to Washington Elementary and Schuler Elementary Schools last week, providing coats, boots, hats, and warm clothes to students in need. This donation is part of the group’s annual “Coats for Kids” program, aimed at helping children stay warm during the winter months.
The council raises funds throughout the year through various events to support charitable donations, such as “Coats for Kids”, CPID (Campaign for People with Intellectual Disabilities), scholarships for Atlantic High School seniors, local food pantries, the LC Clinic, and more. Their biggest fundraiser is the annual Fish Fry held at SS. Peter and Paul Church during Lent.
