A recent survey conducted after the election revealed key demographic trends in the voting population. Results showed that a significant portion of voters had not attended college or had only attended but not received a degree. White non-college graduates made up the largest group among voters, followed by white college graduates, and then non-white non-college graduates.
When asked about their political affiliations, a third of voters considered themselves independents or something else. In terms of gender and education, white men without a college degree had the highest representation among voters. The majority of voters felt dissatisfied with the country’s current economic conditions, but opinions on President Biden’s performance were divided.
When it came to issues that influenced their vote, the state of democracy and the ability to lead were among the top concerns. Additionally, abortion and the fairness of elections in their state were key issues for voters. A significant percentage of voters expressed concern about the threat to democracy in the U.S. today.
Overall, the survey reflected a diverse and divided electorate with differing opinions on key issues and the performance of political leaders.
