Poll finds Trump and Harris in a tight race in key battleground state of Wisconsin

A recent poll conducted in Wisconsin, a key battleground state, shows Former President Trump and Vice President Harris nearly tied just eight days before Election Day. The USA TODAY/Suffolk University poll of 500 likely voters found Trump at 48% and Harris at 47%, both falling within the margin of error. Door County, Wisconsin, where Harris leads Trump 50% to 47%, has been historically predictive of the candidate who takes the White House.

Wisconsin, along with Michigan and Pennsylvania, is part of the “Blue Wall” states that will play a crucial role in determining the outcome of the election. Wisconsin’s population is characterized by White working-class voters, with 58% being White without a college degree. Harris leads Trump by 14 points among women in the state, while Trump leads by 18 points among men.

Both candidates are aggressively campaigning in swing states like Wisconsin, Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, and North Carolina. Early voters in Wisconsin have already cast over 850,000 ballots, contributing to the nationwide total of more than 41 million votes. As the election draws near, both Trump and Harris are focusing on securing support in crucial battleground states to ensure victory on Election Day.
