Loyola University Chicago Athletics Prepares for Bradley Pink Classic and Wisconsin Pre-Nationals

Loyola University Chicago’s cross country team is gearing up for two major events in the coming weeks: the Bradley Pink Classic and the Wisconsin Pre-Nationals. These races will serve as important preparations for the upcoming NCAA championships.

The Bradley Pink Classic, scheduled for October 15th, will provide the team with an opportunity to compete against tough competition and test their readiness for the postseason. The event is named in honor of late Bradley University coach, Marcia Martinez, who fought breast cancer. Loyola’s athletes will be looking to make a strong showing in her memory.

Following the Bradley Pink Classic, the team will head to Madison, Wisconsin for the Pre-Nationals event on October 29th. This race will give the team a chance to preview the course that will be used for the NCAA championships in November, allowing them to familiarize themselves with the terrain and strategize accordingly.

Head coach, Bob Thurnhoffer, is optimistic about his team’s prospects for both events. He believes that the challenging competitions will help the team continue to grow and improve as they aim for success at the national level.

The Loyola Ramblers have been putting in the hard work and dedication necessary to compete at a high level, and their efforts are expected to pay off in these upcoming races. With strong leadership from Coach Thurnhoffer and a talented roster of athletes, the team is poised to make a statement at the Bradley Pink Classic and Wisconsin Pre-Nationals. Supporters and fans are eagerly anticipating watching the team in action and cheering them on as they strive for victory.
