Despite his size, most of Pesto’s weight comes from his fuzzy brown plumage, which will be shed as he grows adult feathers. Pesto is non-sexually dimorphic, meaning his gender cannot be distinguished from his appearance. Social media has been abuzz with Pesto’s gender reveal, which confirmed he is male.
